Taylor co-owns and operates Midcoast Chimney, bringing years of professional firefighting and paramedic experience to every job. He holds dual CSIA certifications and worked for one of Maine’s largest city fire departments, giving him unmatched expertise in fire and life safety standards.

Lauren

Co-Owner & Operations Manager

Professional Firefighter/Paramedic • U.S. Army Veteran • Customer Service Excellence

Lauren co-owns Midcoast Chimney and handles scheduling and administrative operations. She served as a professional firefighter/paramedic and is an Army veteran who completed an overseas deployment. Her military and firefighting experience ensures exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Master Mason

20+ Years Experience • Second-Generation Mason • Norwegian-Trained Heritage

Erik brings over 20 years of masonry expertise as a talented second-generation craftsman. He learned from his Norwegian-trained master mason father, combining traditional European techniques with modern Midcoast construction needs. His seven years serving Midcoast communities showcase exceptional craftsmanship.

Certified Chimney Technician

CSIA Certified • Active Firefighter/Paramedic • 3 Years with Midcoast

Keith serves as our certified chimney technician with CSIA certification and three years of experience with Midcoast Chimney. As an active full-time firefighter/paramedic, he brings current, real-world fire safety knowledge to every inspection and service call.

CSIA CERTIFIED ACROSS THE TEAM

Certified Chimney Professional (CCP)

Comprehensive training in chimney inspections, cleaning techniques, heating systems, and NFPA 211 safety standards. Our CCP-certified technicians understand the complete science of combustion and venting systems.

Certified Chimney Re-liner (CCR)

Specialized expertise in chimney liner installation, metallurgy, clay and ceramic systems, and cast-in-place solutions. We’re trained in UL standards and proper insulation techniques for Midcoast’s harsh climate.

Professional Firefighter Training

Real-world fire suppression and safety experience that goes beyond certifications. Our firefighter team members understand fire behavior, carbon monoxide risks, and emergency response from years in the field.
